The Trenton Museum Society owns the permanent collection of art and historical valuables on display and in storage at the Ellarslie Mansion, the Trenton City Museum in Cadwalader Park.
On January 7, 2012, Trenton Downtowner Community Editor Jim Carlucci sat with the Society’s Chair, Bob Cunningham, and Board Member Carolyn Stetson to talk about current events at the Museum. Ellarslie has been affected by the financial crisis the rest of the City has been experiencing, losing its full-time Director with the last wave of layoffs; as well as being forced to cancel several planned shows and events, and losing major pieces in its collection back to their owner museums.
